What I’m working on now

(This is a Now Page, inspired by Derek Sivers. If you have your own site, you should make one, too)

I’ve graduated from the MA Photography programme at the Royal College of Art at the beginning of July, and we’ve since travelled to Taiwan for our wedding ceremony. With these two big things off my plate, I’m free to focus on other things.

Our personal documentary project

My wife and I are collaborating on our first project as an artist duo, a photographic diary of the process of building our marriage as an inter-cultural couple. While the project is a very long-term one, we’re experimenting with publishing miniature photo-essays from it as a weekly email newsletter, which you should definitely follow.

The degree show I had at the RCA was based in this project, and we’re not looking to the next steps to develop this.

This project is getting a fresh boost through collaboration with one of my favourite writers. Hopefully, something will be published soon.

Developing a sustainable business with A Possible Space

Our creative studio is doing fairly well, but it’s a brand new business that needs constant work and attention. We’re always on the lookout for new clients, for projects as diverse as photography (portraiture, commercial, documentary...), art direction, visual communication, or even software engineering (for which my previous career is leveraged).

On the backburner: "Crush"

This project is not getting the attention that they deserve because of everything else that I have on my plate, but I’m planning to dedicate time to them as soon as possible.
